Hodag Final
Messing around with shapes, color and a bit of lighting on this one. Really fun putting together different animal shapes and thinking about how some of these shapes could believably extend from their respective animal origins.

Venture West Bank
Couple of character designs for Venture West Bank (not real), they wanted a new mascot character to connect with the younger generation, something to communicate their tag-line: "Venture West...Making the World Safe for Ordinary Investors." It also had to feel friendly, like something that could really help out if need be.
First thought was birds for w/e reason. Went to an old sketchbook where I remembered sketching a kookaburra who supposedly in Australian lore is supposed to bring light to the people of the earth every morning.

Character Design
First project of the semester: caricature yourself.
Never really been big on caricaturing, so really loving this class for that reason. Had some fun with this, especially approaching it from the silhouette; so quick.
