Love watching old movies like these then realizing something modern (in this case Black Swan) kinda copied (adapted, got inspired by, was in the zeitgeist, w/e) and then thinking about how each movie went about presenting the story and if they even had the same theme.
I do like Powell's more than Aronofsky's; I kinda cared more for the characters- both great though :)
