For my Race, Class, Gender, and Ethnicity in cinema class I wanted to explore the way a shot is placed to either empower a character or belittle them. So I took some shots from a 1981 film, Zoot Suit (nice movie!), and thought about placing the camera in another location to empower certain characters.
Interesting things about this is, no matter where I placed the camera, the staging of the movie is so well conceived, that certain characters would always feel "crowded in" or even in "power".
Also...finally done with classes! A little sleep deprived but...it was good times.
