So, my school, CCA (california college of the arts) is now offering an MFA in comics. I didn't actually grow up with comics other than the scholastic stuff the school would have from time to time. As I continue my studies with lines (as opposed to shape in value), and start thinking more of story and the relationship between an image and a word, comics are starting to look like a great venue of creativity.
Insanely intimidating considering how huge the industry is, but dunno...at least it would be an interesting hobby to try out.
Am thinking about the MFA, but dunno...I would very much miss storyboarding/film. Honeymoon stage for comics: engaged.
